Did you scrape together change to buy 7″ singles when you where younger? Did you wear down the tread on your soles from night after night of stomping on broken dance floor linoleum? Do you still keep articles of clothing from when you were misanthropic? When you’re alone do you still twitch to layered noise?

You probably still own the first pair of 14 holes you ever bought too.

Well, I did those things and still do those things, sometimes with more reserve than what I had when I was younger, but the spirit is there.

Total Recall is my little dedication to a genre of music I feverishly embraced some seventeen years ago and still do today. Call it EBM, Industrial, Synthpop, Experimental, Noise, or Electronica it’s remained a powerful movement in the non mainstream music cultures we’re surrounded by today.
